The Deal

SLYCE is free to use and currently in beta. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use SLYCE.

1. What SLYCE Is (And Isn't)

SLYCE helps you organize group trips - dates, destinations, accommodations, and expenses. That's it. We're not a travel agency, booking platform, or financial advisor. We don't book flights, guarantee hotel availability, or tell you how to spend your money.

2. Beta Status

SLYCE is in beta, which means: Things might break, Features might change, Data could be lost (I'll do my best to prevent this, but backups are your friend), There are no warranties or guarantees. Use it at your own risk.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree to: Provide accurate information, Keep your password secure, Not use SLYCE for anything illegal or harmful, Not try to hack, break, or abuse the system, Be respectful to other users in your groups.

4. User-to-User Payments

SLYCE calculates who owes what and displays payment contact information you provide, but we don't process, guarantee, or facilitate actual payments between users. You're responsible for:

• Entering accurate payment contact information
• Sending and receiving payments directly with other users
• Resolving any payment disputes with other group members
• Understanding the terms and fees of the payment services you use

Not Liable

5. Your Data

The trips you create and expenses you track are yours. You can export or delete them anytime. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

6. Tipping (Optional)

If you choose to leave a tip, you're making a voluntary payment via Stripe, PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle. Tips are non-refundable. SLYCE will remain free to use whether you tip or not.

7. Limitation of Liability

SLYCE is provided 'as is' with no guarantees. I'm not liable for: Data loss, Bugs or outages, Incorrect expense calculations (though I work hard to get the math right), Any damages resulting from your use of SLYCE, Hurt feelings (per the earlier disclaimer).

Maximum liability is limited to any amount you've paid to use SLYCE in the past 12 months (which is currently $0 unless you've tipped).

8. Termination

You can delete your account anytime. I can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, but I'll try to give you a heads up first unless you're doing something seriously harmful.

9. Changes

I can update these terms as SLYCE evolves. If there's a major change, I'll email you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

10. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States. If we have a dispute, let's try to work it out like adults before involving lawyers.
