Hi, I'm Dave.

For over 20 years, my friends and I have taken an annual trip together. The trips are always great. The planning? Not so much.

We tried everything: group chats that spiraled into chaos, Doodle polls for dates, spreadsheets for expenses (later Splitwise, which is great at what it does). It worked, but it was clunky. We were using 4-5 different tools to organize one trip.

I kept thinking: 'This should be easier.' So I built SLYCE.

SLYCE isn't trying to be a travel site - we're not here to book your flights or find you hotels (Expedia and Wanderlog do that better than we ever could). We're here for the organizational headaches: the Who, What, Where, When of group trips. Pick your dates together. Vote on where to go. Figure out who's sleeping where and who owes what. All in one place, all with your group, all stupidly simple.

It's just me behind the curtain right now, pulling the SLYCE strings.

If this helps your group trips suck a little less, I've done my job.
